Current Opportunities to Give during Covid-19

The Missions Ministry decided to send $1,500 to the Agape Family Life Center in Hardeeville to help their food pantry and other programs. Another $1,500 will be sent to the Soup Kitchen at Campbell AME Church in Bluffton. They are distributing 150 meals three times a week from their parking lot and are delivering 89 additional meals. The need is great everywhere!

Missions Ministry also encourages you to give directly to both Bluffton Self Help and Agape as they are on the front lines dealing with hunger. You can give directly to each using the instructions below. In addition, if you prefer to donate food items, you can do so through Amazon.com by sending items directly to them using their physical address supplied below. Suggested food items are beans (dried or canned), canned tomatoes, soups, pasta, pasta sauce, rice, and cereals.

Calling All Mask Makers

With mask wearing a requirement for in-person worship, we will need extras for those who arrive without one. Agape Family Life Center is requiring participants in their Food Bank to wear a mask. Mission is asking for members to make masks for both and bring to the church office.

Masks may be dropped off outside the office doors in a marked bin. Please put each in a plastic bag. If you have any questions, please contact Diane Mikkelson @ 843-368-6865. Thank you in advance for taking part in this new project.

Bluffton Self Help is the

Change Can Make a Change for June

In May, Bluffton Self Help was able to impact the lives of 750 families, many who find themselves in unthinkable situations. Due to COVID19, the need is still great so if you haven’t already done so please remember to support the June Change Can Make a Change for Bluffton Self Help.

You may write a check to Lowcountry Presbyterian Church with either Bluffton Self Help or June CCMAC notation on your check .

Don’t forget that Bluffton Self Help is also still needing and accepting food donations in no contact containers on Mondays from 10am to 2pm.

Thank you so much for remembering our neighbors in need!
